Crystal, Joyce and Elaine from Essex-Hudson Council visited The Chen School in Newark for Dr. Seuss Day, where they read to the students and had a question and answer period with them. The students were left with bookmarks, pads and books for their library. A good time was had by all including the teachers.Chris, Jeannette and Tina (The Cat) from the PPR Club visited the Vincent Capuano Early Childhood School in Passaic to read “I Can Read With My Eyes Closed”. The 208 Kindergarten students were very well behaved and really listened. The Cat left them bookmarks, pads, pencils and books for their lending library. They were so excited to receive their gifts.
Essex Life Member Club (not pictured) attended the Alexander Street School Annex for Dr. Seuss Day. There were 35 students in attendance. The teachers and students were very excited and appreciative. We left the students and teachers with bookmarks, pencils, pads and books for their library. |
